How to Use Laurel Essential Oil
For a gender-neutral deodorant, rub onto skin of armpits
- 3 drops Laurel
- 2 drops Tea Tree
Massage into tired or aching muscles
- 3 drops Laurel
- 1 drop Peppermint
- 1/2 oz carrier oil
Diffuse during the holidays
- 6 oz water
- 4 drops Laurel
- 2 drops Douglas Fir
- 1 drop Wintergreen
Other Ways to Use Laurel Essential Oil
- Add a few drops to shampoo and conditioner to treat dry scalp/hair
- Add to men’s products, such as beard oils and shaving creams
- Deeply soothing bath blend: mix with 1/2 cup of Himalayan salts and 1/4 cup of Jojoba oil in a hot bath
- Used to as a hair and nail strengthener
- Wonderful for soothing congestion if under the weather with the cold or flu

History / Facts of Laurel Essential Oil
The myth of the laurel tree is that Daphne escaped Apollo’s attention by being transformed into the laurel tree. Apollo used the bay laurel tree as his emblem since he could not have Daphne as his wife. The laurel leaf was often used in making crowns for both Greeks and Romans as a symbol of victory.
