How to Use Frankincense, Serrata Essential Oil

  • Excellent for the diffuser to soothe the “Central Nervous System”
    Sprinkle around the home or car
  1. In 6 oz water; diffuse

  • 3 drops Frankincense, serrata
  • 2 drops Bergamot
  • 2 drops Orange

“Calm & Soothe blend”

  • 3 drops Frankincense, serrata
  • 2 drops Lavender, kashmir
  • 2 drops Mandarin
  • 1 drop Clary Sage

Palm inhalation:

  • 1-2 drops in palms, deeply inhale and rub on crown of head and over low back/adrenals. Massage into temples, adding Lavender as desired

History or facts of Frankincense, Serrata Essential Oil

  • Frankincense, along with gold and myrrh, was included in the gifts presented by the wise men to the infant Christ.
  • The frankincense mentioned in the Old Testament of the Bible was likely the SERRATA variety which was introduced into church ceremonies at the beginning of Christianity in Europe during the Middle Ages. On average during this time about 500 tons of frankincense was used by the Orthodox and Roman Catholic churches per year.
  • The Serrata variety is more accessible and less expensive than the carteri variety.
  • A great oil for the 6th Chakra
