Frankincense: A non-toxic, non-irritant oil, it’s known for it’s common appearance in spiritual ceremony’s or commonly the catholic church. As there are many varieties of Frankincense, this is the most commonly used variety, for Ayurveda. The family of Frankincense has shown in studies, to reduce cancerous tumors when used properly.

Geranium: Therapeutic properties are anti-depressant, anti-septic, astringent. It stimulates the adrenal cortex helping to balance the nervous system.  Geranium Essential Oil is calming and it supports healthy skin.  Throughout history it has been used as a powerful wound healer.

Lavender:The balancing properties can boost stamina and energy. Along with easing stress and relaxing, it is used to cleanse common cuts, bruises, and skin irritations. A French scientist, Rene Gattefosse, was severely burned in a laboratory accident and immersed his hand in a vat of Lavender and realized the healing property of the oil. This oil is so gentle that it can be used with animals to calm them.

Lemon: Lemon has a strong citrus smell that is refreshing and revitalizing. The properties of lemon are stimulating, calming, antiseptic, anti-fungal, and detoxifying. While lemon adds a pleasant taste and aroma, it aids in digestion and stomach problems. The detoxifying and astringent nature rejuvenates sagging or tired looking skin. Inhaling lemon oil increases concentration and alertness. The high vitamin content gives a boost to the immune system. It can also be used in cleaners, perfumes, soaps, and beverages. It replaces negative emotions by creating a cheerful atmosphere of freshness and purity.
The aroma of lemon can inspire increased concentration and awareness. A Japanese study showed that after diffusing lemon oil throughout a busy office building, typing errors decreased by 54%. Lemon and Peppermint oils are also used in German office spaces to increase efficiency and productivity.

Peppermint: Peppermint acts in the body as a bronchial dilator and vasodiolator, meaning that it “opens” up the lungs and veins, bringing more air in the lungs and more blood to the brain. Therefore, Peppermint acts as a great mental stimulant and is believed to improve memory. In Japan and Germany, Peppermint and Lemon oils are used in the workplace to increase efficiency and productivity! Therefore, Peppermint is a great remedy for sleepiness, fatigue, mental doldrums, a hangover, and even to keep you alert while driving.  Peppermint was historically used as a diaphoretic meaning, to induce sweating. On a hot summer day, Peppermint instantly cools the body down.

Tea Tree:This essential oil should be in everyone’s home pharmacy and can be used for anything you would want to “disinfect” such as acne, scrapes, cuts, mouth ulcers, gingivitis, athletes foot, stubborn skin infections and more. Opening a bottle of Tea Tree for the first time can be very surprising. Tea Tree is not an olfactory delight, such as rose or lavender. This plant oil is a warrior against infection, hence its medicinal scent with a hint of pepper. Its remarkable antiseptic power has been one of the most researched, documented and clinically proven therapeutic essential oils in the world.
