BULK Copaiba Balsam (Brazil, Wildcrafted)
Plant Name: Copaifera officinalis
A steam distilled resin from tropical Evergreen trees in Brazil. It's actually an oleoresin and not a balsam.
Copaiba Balsam has been traditionally uses as burning incense to treat bronchitis, intestinal and inflammation issues. Similar to how Myrrh was/is used; but from South and Central American rainforest heartwood trees.
Unlike Myrrh and Frankincense, this is a less expensive oil with some great and similar affects when properly used.
An oil used in body and hair products, along with homemade soaps are of many of the common and traditional uses.
